The Color Purple
So this novel was kind of weird and all over the place!!! It has a young girl with an abusive father. I think I want to write a paper comparing it to maybe present day life in a third-world country because the situation could happen today!!! A young girl was abused by her father and then forced to marry an older man. This is a type of thing that does occur in today's world... and I think I could write a good paper on it!!!!

third-world country... where does that come into play? Yes, it is a very strange book, I agree.. It make you thankful for even a dysfunctional family... at least it wasn't THAT bad...
